The process is fairly simple and can be completed quickly as this is a time-sensitive matter. I can complete your evaluation as soon as possible if you need me. 

A parent portfolio checklist is provided to help you know what to gather and send in for your portfolio evaluation.

As soon as I receive the portfolio, we can meet within a week to complete the discussion requirement.

Before the meeting, I will review your portfolio's documents. I request that the portfolio is sent to me by email. 

Evaluations are offered via Zoom or by a simple phone call! During the evaluation, your evaluator will speak with both parent and child regarding the content of the portfolio.

These meetings are usually brief and should take no more than 30 minutes. Please be sure your student is present during the meeting as Florida homeschool laws require this. 1002.41.

After the meeting, please leave a review so that I can better serve your family and others in the future. All feedback is welcomed and encouraged - the good and the bad.

I will immediately email the completed document signed by me stating the evaluation results that you are required to send to the district.

Florida law requires that parents retain their portfolios for at least 2 years after an evaluation as the district or state may ask to review information in it. This checklist is also proof of record of the evaluation that you can provide if needed.
