As homeschooling continues to rise in popularity, the demand for homeschool-related resources has grown, leading my small side business to blossom into something wonderful. I am deeply grateful for the blessings and opportunities that have come my way.

I founded Southwest Florida Homeschoolers LLC  to support families in their educational journey and provide the necessary services to document their children's educational progress through a student portfolio, as required by Florida Statute 1002.41.

With personal experience as a homeschooling parent of two and over 15 years of experience as a public school teacher, learning specialist, and instructional designer, I bring a wealth of knowledge in various teaching methods and learning styles. Additionally, I am an active member of the Association of Florida Evaluators.

When conducting evaluations, I consider the whole child and the progress they have made throughout the evaluation year. I understand the financial challenges that families may face, which is why I offer my services on a pay-what-you-can basis, ensuring that all families receive the same high-quality support regardless of their financial circumstances.

My vision is to create a supportive network for the homeschool community in Southwest Florida, where families can connect and proudly identify as Southwest Florida Homeschoolers. Membership is extended to any family that attends at least one event or completes a home education service.

I am proud to say I am a Southwest Florida native. My goal is to make homeschooling a more accessible option for families considering home education and to enhance the educational experience for homeschoolers in Southwest Florida. 

Currently, I work as an Instructional Designer for a leading company full-time. I am available for educational needs outside of my full-time position as the owner and founder of Southwest Florida Homeschoolers LLC. Please reach out with any educational needs you or your organization may have.
